Paris drove to the address she had been given, bobbing to the music she was playing and singing along with August Alsina.

“So I’ma keep on drinking cause I luv this shit/ And I’ma keep on smoking cause I luv this shit/And I’ma keep on grindin’ cause I luv this shit…”

She continued singing while driving down the highway. Twenty minutes later, she pulled up to a nice one-story house. She was confused because this did not resemble a restaurant. Paris was about to pull up behind the vehicle she knew as Yaseer’s when she saw something that made her pump her breaks.

There was a woman standing outside with him, beside his car. Paris watched as the woman handed over the most adorable little baby girl, and then she watched as she handed Yaseer another one, who was just as cute. Paris watched Yaseer put the girls in the car, take their baby bags, and pull off.

Paris’ mind was traveling all over the place with one main question in mind. Who were those babies and who was the tramp handing them off to him?

Paris put her car into drive and followed his car, making sure to stay a few cars behind. She watched him turn into a restaurant that she and Yaseer visited on the regular. “He just arrived. Follow me.” She motioned with her hand as she turned to lead her.

Paris followed her to a private room toward the back of the restaurant. Once they were close to the room, she tapped the waitress on the shoulder. The waitress stopped to hear what Paris was about to tell her.

“I think I can take it from here. I want to sneak up on him. I’m kinda early.”

“No problem, enjoy your meal.”

Paris quietly walked the rest of the way to the room where Yaseer was with the two little girls. One was crawling on the floor, playing with baby toys, and the other one he had standing up on his lap bouncing her up and down.

“Say da-da, da-da,” she heard him say.

Paris was rooted in her spot. She felt the tears stinging the back of her eyes. She wanted to believe that she had heard wrong, but she had excellent hearing. She sucked in her emotions and strolled over to him.

“Hey, Daddy,” she said as she approached him.

Yaseer ceased all movement the moment he heard his fiancée’s voice. He moved the infant out of his view so he could see Paris. Yaseer looked as though he had seen a ghost.

“Bae, wh-what are you doing here?” Yaseer asked.

“I received your note, telling me to
